VCS 10050

Ashless Antiwear Package for Industrial Hydraulic and Compressor Oils

VCS 10050 is a single, ashless, multifunctional, universal additive package for use in preparing premium hydraulic fluids, compressor oils, turbine oils and R&O oils. When formulated in a suitable base stock, VCS 10050 imparts the following benefits:

  • Biodegradable (OECD – 301F)
  • Contains no zinc or other heavy metals
  • Extended oil life and pump durability
  • Antiwear and EP performance
  • Filterability and demulsibility
  • Excellent thermal and oxidation stability
  • Compatible in most Group I – V base stocks, esters and
    vegetable oils
  • Solubility testing is recommended

Who is Vertical Chemical Solutions

Vertical Chemical Solutions (VCS) is a division of ProFluid, LLC focused on manufacturing and marketing specialty chemical, grease, lubricant, and additive products throughout the Americas. For nearly a decade, the team has operated “behind the scenes” in the industry, supplying reliable, high-quality solutions to formulators and manufacturers.

Company & Partnerships

VCS offers component packages, additive packages, and base stocks used in lubricants, greases, and specialty fluids. These include tractor, hydraulic, PCMO/HDEO, gear, grease, NGEO, TO-4 additive packages, dispersant succinimides (PIBSI), succinimide anhydrides, viscosity index improvers, as well as Group III+/synthetic base stocks like PAOs and GTLs.

Our core focus on the VCS Products page is components and additive packages—such as tractor, hydraulic, PCMO/HDEO, gear, grease, and NGEO additive packages, plus base stocks and VI improvers—for customers who are blending or formulating their own finished products. In some cases we can support finished or semi-finished solutions through ProFluid; please contact us to discuss your specific needs.

Many of our PCMO, HDEO, gear, and specialty additive packages are designed with specific industry and OEM performance targets in mind—such as API SN/CI-4, SP/GF-6, Euro ACEA categories, and various OEM sequences cited in the product names. We can share formulation guidance and performance expectations based on your target specification set.

Yes. Our portfolio includes products suitable for vegetable oils, ester stocks, fire-resistant (FR) hydraulic fluids, and low-ash NGEO applications, as well as additive technology designed to support longer life and higher efficiency. Sustainability and performance go hand-in-hand in our product development.

Absolutely. Along with TDS/SDS documentation, we can provide typical treat rate ranges, base oil compatibility guidance (e.g., PAO, Group III+, GTL, vegetable/ester), and recommended blending practices. Ordering, Logistics & Service

Packaging options depend on the specific additive or base stock, but typical formats include drums, totes, and bulk. For certain products we may also offer smaller containers for lab and pilot work. Please let us know your expected volume and logistics needs so we can recommend the best option.

Lead times and MOQs vary by product type and shipping location. Many “Active” products are stocked or available on short lead times, while custom or “In Development” items may have longer timelines. Once we know your forecast, location, and packaging requirements, we can provide specific lead-time and MOQ guidance.

Yes. VCS was established specifically to manufacture and market products throughout the Americas. We work with customers in North, Central, and South America and can coordinate export documentation, logistics, and delivery options suitable for your region.
